Stylishly timid, but attractively charming, elegant, lively, creative, intelligent, she has dared the world of poetry in creating intrinsic positive effect to the likes of Toni Kan, the Mayor of Lagos in the world of literature during the Abuja Literary Society yearly Literary and Arts Festival tagged ALitFest.

Adekunbi’s spoken word “DRUGLESS ADDICTION” crowned her as the first runner up among thirty other contesting poets in ALitFest 2019 Poetry Slam.

Born Adekunbi Ogunsuyi in Jos, Nigeria’s widely acclaim European state on 18th January to Mr and Mrs. Adeleye Ogunsuyi, poetically, she is something extraordinarily different on stage with the name Adekunbi LARDO.

LARDO has walked the aisle with poetry because of its alluring beauty. Inspired by everything and anything exciting, her poetic punches have the unpredicted force of piercing through to the bone marrow.

Currently in her third year studying History and International Studies, University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, she is the second child of two siblings and hail from Ogbomosho north, Oyo State Western Nigeria.
