Freedom Park, Nigeria’s former colonial prison-yard Saturday 27th July 2019 proudly hosted the Lagos edition of Oge Kimono’s debut Good Ole Days, The Album Tour.

Good Ole Days, a 10 track album was officially released on Monday June 10th 2019, a date registered in the heart of reggae fans globally as Ras Kimono Memorial Day. A complete reggae album with the following tracks: Good Ole Days, 24 Hours, So IsteLiebe, Mama Love, Love is Light, When Love Shows Up, Better, Rise Above Pain featuring Jasse Jagz, Young Gyal and Pull Up featuring Sound Sultan

Hosted by Covenant Child veteran OAP, ace reggae promoter, media entrepreneur and consultant. The Esther’s Revenge lounge of Freedom Park acknowledges the fact that once good music hits you, both the foundation and pillars of your body structure will surely feel no pain.
Performing with “the massive dread” her father’s ten man band comprising of three female back-up singers, a bassist, acoustic guitarist, drummer, keyboardist, saxophonist and two trumpeters, guests in attendance were thrilled to authentic and undiluted reggae tunes from her Good Ole Days album as well as her late father’s famous songs.

Tim Eagle, BornStar, Diff Morgan and Blew Rain representing Ital Sounds gave their collective support with the tune titled–Covenant Child. Deizgn, an entertaining artiste, actor and fashionable model was in attendance to support Oge’s album tour with his own version of “unconditional love” tune. Also in attendance is Xtacy Nigeria’s fast rising reggae dancehall diva.

Oge Kimono who has a blend of roots reggae, lovers’ rock and dancehall reggae tunes was greatly inspired by iconic reggae legend. Born Ogechukwu Nwamaka Onwubuya, she has shared world musical stage / spotlight with the reggae dancehall king – Beenie Man, 2006 Grammy Award reggae album winner and Bob Marley’s youngest son – Damian Jr. Gong Marley, Jah Messenger – Luciano as well as brilliantly took up role of back up vocalist for Tuklan, Ade Bantu and Uwe Banton for her unique vocals.

Before the release of her debut album, Oge have released several singles among which are “Drum and Bass”, “Main Chick” and “Safe”
